As of today CLC rolled out an unpdated website. It is still very much a work in progress and there are bugs to work out. But now, when you go www.christlutheran.com you will see something different. So anyway, what does this mean?

What's the same is that we still want to offer information for the visitor or one who is "seeking" a church. We can always do that better. We also want to keep our own members informed. There is a lot more we can do with that part of it too. But we are working on it.

There is a pastor's blog, a chance to comment and inform on this or that as it comes up. There are some interactive Bible studies and copies of the latest messages from Sunday worship. There are links to other sites that can both inform and inspire. Check it out.

It wasn't that long ago that I didn't even know what a blog was. Now they tell me I'm doing one. A PowerPoint was a firm hand gesture. Technolgy sure has changed a lot of things - including how the church goes about doing what it is comissioned to do. It is a good thing, I am sure, to keep up with stuff like that so that we can communicate Christ as well as we can to as many as we can. Doing it well; doing it right; doing it for the right reason - sure. But do "it" we must.

The good news is, however, is that the "Good News" is still the same. The same God, same Scriptures, same mission, same Savior. "Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever."
